Prosia is an independent social impact assessment practice based in Sydney, New South Wales. This page explains what personal information the practice collects through this website, why it is collected, and what happens to it.
If you complete the enquiry form, the practice receives what you type into it: your name, email address, organisation, the project type you select, and your message. If you email or call instead, the practice receives whatever you choose to share in that contact.
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, and builds no profile of visitors. Nothing is collected from you simply by reading these pages. The site does load its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser when a page loads.
To read and respond to your enquiry, and, where the enquiry leads to work, to carry out that engagement and keep ordinary business records of it. Your details are not used to send marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list.
Enquiry form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this website, and are forwarded by email. Email correspondence is held in Google Workspace. Both providers store data on servers that may be located outside Australia.
Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is disclosed to others only where you ask for that, where a specialist sub-consultant is engaged on your project and needs it to do that work, or where disclosure is required by law.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Records relating to completed engagements are retained for as long as needed for professional, insurance and record-keeping purposes.
You can ask what personal information the practice holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to cal@prosia.com.au and you will receive a reply within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how a privacy concern has been handled, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
If this statement changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date below.
